Dedicated to the Chronically Confused or Dementia Impaired, this area is a community of all of its own, offering a lower stimulation environment as well as structure to daily activities. There is a bright dining/social area with a gated garden area located outside. The Memory Wing of Grandview Heights is the only one of its kind in the Marshalltown area. By that we mean for the level of care offered. For example if you or a family member would fall and break a leg, you would be able to return to our facility for potential skilled care where other settings might not be able to offer the level of care required to recover. In house therapy services are also provided when needed. In addition, Grandview Heights also offers monthly Alzheimer's support group meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5PM. There will be a different topic identified for each meeting along with a casual conversation. The public is most welcome!
